Microsoft Xbox community manager Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb announced yesterday a few “new” games that would be added to the list of Xbox 360 titles that are backward-compatible with the Xbox One. That boosts the number of backward-compatible games on the Xbox One to a whopping 144 titles.

The first Assassin’s Creed game was released by Ubisoft in 2007 and was a runaway success, as gamers across different platforms eagerly awaited the next combination of adventure, history, time travel, and parkour. And now it’s coming to the Xbox One, leading off the three new backwards-compatible titles. Quite interestingly, the original Assassin’s Creed is joining Assassin’s Creed II in the list, and that makes it quite possible that the entire franchise may one day become compatible for the Xbox One.

Also included in the list of Xbox 360 games now playable on Xbox One are Capcom and Airtight Games’ 2010 shooter game Dark Void , and Codemasters ‘ 2013 racing game Grid 2 , both standouts in the previous generation. The rest of the backwards-compatible additions include Alan Wake , Castlevania: Symphony of the Night , and Pac-Man .

There are some games, however, that remain much-desired by players but, up to now, aren’t officially backwards-compatible with the Xbox One. For instance, there’s Red Dead Redemption , which was recently leaked on Microsoft’s online store; some players were able to play it on their Xbox One thereafter, so it’s safe to say Major Nelson might be announcing that one in the coming months. This is especialy probable as Rockstar Games may be unveiling the new Red Dead game at E3 2016.

If you’re looking forward to any one of those newly-announced games, and happen to have them on Xbox Live Arcade or Xbox Live Games on Demand, you’ll see their respective icons on your Xbox One dashboard.
