Stock Market News, October 28 – SAExploration Holdings Among Companies Hitting New 52-Week Lows

Holding company SAExploration Holdings Inc. (SAEX) reached a new 52-week low yesterday, hitting $7.01 per share, above its old 52-week low of $7.75. The company, which provides a variety of two-dimensional (2D), three-dimensional (3D) and four-dimensional (4D) seismic data services to clients, is now trading at $7.20 – 0.59 (7.57 percent) on a total of 48,260 shares traded.

Cyan Inc. (CYNI), a provider of carrier-grade networking solutions, reached a low of $7.44 per share yesterday, beating its previous 52-week low of $7.85. The company is now trading at $7.51 – 0.55 (6.82 percent) on 178,916 shares traded. Cyan Inc. is also the maker of the “Cyan Z-Series”, a series of high-capacity, multi-layer switching and transport platforms.

“Casual dining” restaurant chain Ruby Tuesday Inc.(RT) hit a 52-week low yesterday of $5.87 per share, moving under its previous low of $5.88 by just one cent. The company is now trading at $5.64 – 0.33 (5.53 percent) on 2,947,950 shares traded. The Ruby Tuesday casual dining chain is stratified in the higher end of its class of restaurants as far as food and service are concerned.

Navidea Biopharmaceuticals Inc. (NAVB) dipped to a new 52-week low yesterday, reaching $2.02 per share. The company is now trading at $2.02 – 0.10 (4.72 percent) on 1,191,728 shares traded. Navidea Biopharmaceuticals is engaged in development and commercialization of products for diagnostic and surgical use.

Similar company Achillion Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ACHN) also reached a new 52-week low, hitting $2.40 per share as of yesterday. CyberOptics Corporation (CYBE) was at a new 52-week low yesterday, reaching $5.05 per share above its earlier 52-week low of $5.14. The company develops, designs, manufactures and distributes high-performance semiconductor substrates, and also manufactures semi-insulating GaAs substrates that are utilized in wireless device switches and amplifiers.

Two medical companies – Accretive Health (AH) and Infinity Pharmaceuticals Inc. (INFI) wrap up the list of companies reaching new 52-week lows yesterday. Accretive Health reached a low of $8.33 above its old 52-week low of $8.34, and is now at $8.33 – 0.14 (1.65 percent) on 143,039 shares traded.

Infinity Pharmaceuticals, on the other hand, hit a low of $13.35 per share, above its earlier low of $13.52. The company is now at $13.56 – 0.145 (1.06 percent) on 499,407 shares traded.
