Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) went head-to-head in another Democratic primary debate Thursday night in Brooklyn, New York.
The stakes for this debate were high ahead of next Tuesday's New York primary.
Sanders slammed Clinton for using a "racist term"in 1996 when she used the phrase "super predators." In return, Clinton discussed the importance of understanding systemic racism.
During the debate, Sanders promised to release his 2014 tax returns Friday and joked, “They are very boring tax returns. No big money from speeches, no major investments. Unfortunately I remain one of the poorer members of the U.S. Senate.”
