That’s one reason why sporting goods are also quite popular on Black Friday. Dick’s Sporting Goods’ Black Friday sale runs through Saturday, November 28, which means if you’d rather stay home and avoid the big rush, you’ve still got tomorrow to take advantage of the retailer’s deals. Doorbusters run through 2 p.m. local time today, while the online deals are good till 2 p.m. PST. With that out of the way, Dick’s is offering $15 off on select athletic footwear priced at $59.99 and above, 25 percent off the price of select Nike products, and 25 percent off select Under Armour Big Logo Hoodies and “more.” Additionally, Dick’s is selling The North Face’s Khumbu or Pumori jackets for $59.98, and offering Fan Shop Fleece at 50 percent off.

While not exclusively a sporting goods retailer, Kohl’s sells a variety of sporting goods as part of its Black Friday 2015 specials. The retailer is offering 10 to 30 percent off on “select styles” of NCAA gifts and selling NFL jerseys in boys’ sizes for just $34.99, instead of the regular price of $55. NCAA fleece, which usually cost $50, have been marked down to as low as $21.99 on select styles, while some NFL Homegating items are selling for 20 to 50 percent off, thus allowing you to save big on equipment for your next tailgate party. For example, you can get 50 percent off on the NFL ProToast MVP Two-Slice Toaster, which is now available at Kohl’s for $42.50 instead of $85.

While we’re on the topic of retailers that don’t necessarily specialize in sports, Kmart has some great sporting goods deals as well, including maximum discounts of 60 percent off select bicycles and basketball hoops, 55 percent off the price of punching bags, and up to 50 percent off on exercise equipment. You can also save 40 percent off the price of all table games when shopping this Black Friday at Kmart.

A look at Modell’s offerings for Black Friday 2015 shows several items selling at discounted prices, with most selling for as much as 25 percent off. These include a Washington Redskins Adult Championship Drive Gold Collection t-shirt, which is now priced at $25.50 instead of the original $34, two reversible scarves (Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants) that now cost $15 instead of $20, a New York Jets Adult Championship Drive Gold Collection Hoodie, which has been marked down from $80 to $60, and a pair of Philadelphia Eagles Men’s Moccasins, which cost $20 instead of $25. Yes, these are all 25 percent discounts off full pricing, so if you like any one of those teams, you’ll be able to save a lot by shopping at Modell’s.
